Argentine agriculture machinery industry in the face of the sectorial structure of the internacional market

Abstract
Within the ongoing restructuring of transnational companies which produce agriculture machinery around the globe, what can be observed is a significant trend towards company concentration and global offer oligopolization, a situation which undoubtedly has an impact on our country. Our paper analyzes the dynamics of the agriculture machinery global trade, as related to the Argentine sector's performance. In order to do this, we look into local and foreign firms' behavior [based and not based in the country] in terms of their international insertion. The wide range of agriculture machinery is then divided in various subsectors according to product, so as to enhance observation. Such research design highlights the strategies followed by the web of domestic and multinational businesses both locally and regionally. In this respect, different advantages in the various subsectors can be observed
