Accesibility and use of new communication and information technologies at higher secondary schools: The "school territory" of the city of Tandil

Abstract
This paper aims at analyzing the accessibility and use of new communication and information technologies at Higher Secondary Schools in the city of Tandil, Province of Buenos Aires, from the standpoint of territorial manifestations and classroom practices of the school geography. This work is a consequence of the qualitative-quantitative research carried out within the framework of the "Education and Territory" research program at the School of Humanities [CIG-UNICEN]. As a result of the research, we will present the thematic maps of accessibility and use of new technologies at the "School territory", which portray the unequal communication and information densities territorialization. Based on the surveys conducted to local secondary school authorities, we can state that accessibility to new technologies in some education institutions does not always guarantee their use in classroom practices of school geography
