Main Article Content
Abstract
In this paper, we look at the main results of the increase in Argentine social and territorial inequalities during the past intercensal period (1991-2001). Firstly, we develop a conceptual approach to the notions of poverty, standard of living and well-being, and we explain its various dimensions. Secondly, we put forward the methodological axes for our work, pointing out the sources and the variables and indicators we have used. Then, we create well-being indexes, expressed respectively in society and territorial maps. And, finally, we introduce our final thoughts.
