Agrifood innovation processes and international demand for fresh food. Citrus packing sector in Entre Rios

Abstract
The Argentine agro-industrial fresh produce exporters are going through a gradual modernization and international agrifood quality rules implementation process. From this perspective, this paper presents certain elements of analysis which may allow us to deepen our knowledge of the link between the onditioning and packing of the citrus agro-industrial complex in the north-east of the province of Entre Ríos, departments of Concordia and Federación, as from the second half of the nineties, by focusing on export businesses and the innovations that they have implemented in order to refine the quality standards.
